The chart is calculated in your browser from a public transcript dataset. Deleted scenes are not included. Bracketed stage directions are stripped before word counting where possible. Each character is constrained to its own vertical lane so adjacent lines cannot cross. Line height uses one shared square-root word-count scale across characters; extreme values are capped at the 99th percentile for readability.
